Strawberry Coulis

Equipment

  • hand mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gr Fresh or frozen fruits
  • 50 gr sugar
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a pot at low-medium heat. cook until the fruit is very soft.
  • Remove from the heat and with a stand mixer, crushed until obtaining a puree. Strain to have a smooth sauce.
  • Refrigerate to cool completely. After cooling the sauce will thicken.

Notes

You can choose the texture of your sauce very smooth if you strained or more rustic with chunks of fruits.
